What is it? A nonprofit community cooperative
serving Newberg for over 30 years providing a safe and dry place for families
with young children to play and make connections. We have a wide variety of toys including
slides, bouncy horses, tricycles, ride-on cars, large foam blocks, musical
instruments, shelves of toddler books, baby bouncers, and much much more!
Who can attend? Newberg Indoor Park is open to all young
children and babies who are five-years-old or younger at the start of the
school year. A child who turns six during the school year is still welcome to attend. There is a limit of three children per
parent/caregiver for safety.
Where is it? We meet in a large gym owned by the
Newberg Friends Church at 200 S College Street in Newberg. The entrance is located next to local
business Herbs in Jars.
When is it? Newberg Indoor Park meets every
Tuesday and Wednesday 9am-11:30am during the school year starting the 2nd week in
September through the first week in June and follows the public-school schedule
for breaks and weather closures. Newberg
Indoor Park also meets at local area parks on Tuesday mornings during summer
break. For summer schedule check out
Newberg Indoor Park on Facebook or newbergindoorpark.com.
How do I join? Membership for the school year is
$45 per family with special signups available on the last Tuesday and first
Tuesday of each year. Half year
memberships are $25 per family.
Membership fees cover our rent, maintain our toy collection, and provide
free snacks.
What does it mean to be a member? Members commit to helping set up
toys (arrive 9:00am on Tuesday) or put away toys (stay until 11:30 on Wednesday) twice a month. Putting in extra time means more playtime
with extra space to run around for the kids and more socializing time for you!
