What do the board members do?

President: Oversees running of Indoor Park and is responsible for marketing and publicity. Maintains website. Addresses member concerns and issues.

Vice President: Oversees toy purchases and repair. Coordinates events.

Secretary: Maintains membership, written records. Writes newsletter and maintains bulletin board.

Treasurer: Maintains financial records and Checking account.

Membership Coordinator: Maintains opening/ closing schedule and reminds members of their duties.

Church Liaison: Serves as a go-between with Newberg Friends Church.  This position is a staff member of the Newberg Friends Church.

All Board Members: Participate in monthly toy cleaning and attend monthly board meetings.  Fill in for opening and closing as needed.  Usually that is only the first week or two of each semester in September and in January.

Optional: Volunteering to help with extra activities: Auction, Christmas/ Easter/ Valentines parties, Old Fashioned Festival & Children’s Parade, flyer/ handout distribution.

Board members do not pay yearly fees for Indoor Park.
